We geek out on creating urban complete communities that wouldn’t otherwise pencil by layering local, state and federal funding subsidies, land development code exceptions, tax abatement strategies, philanthropic grants, community service providers among others. Austin’s ‘Affordability Unlocked’ Development Bonus Program is a part of the larger City plan that has a goal of building 60,000 affordable housing units by 2027. It is one the key programs to achieve the affordable housing goals and expanding rental and home-ownership opportunities.

Our Project ‘The A at Lamppost’ would not have been possible with the Affordability Unlocked program. We have spent over a year getting pre-groundbreaking approvals and have created a pathway for other affordable housing developers
